Enclipse Corporation is hiring for Technical Specialist for our Client in Sacramento, CA! This is 12 month contract position with great benefits and pay rate! This is a unique position! Candidates please refer to Minimum Qualification and Desired Skills before applying to this job!

PROJECT SCOPE/TASKS

The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks:

TASK 1: PROVIDE MANAGEMENT REPORTING AND COORDINATION

Consultant will provide general project communication and coordination services, including:

-Account for time spent on a weekly basis
-Provide concise status reports to Technology Management Unit and

AREIS Governance Committee on accomplished and planned work

-Assist in the identification and resolution of risks and issues, and maintain documentation associated with each as prescribed by client.
-Escalate issues that potentially impact time, scope, cost, or quality to

Client's Management Unit and AREIS Governance Committee

-Participate in weekly/monthly management status meetings and other similar meetings when requested

TASK 2: RESOLVE ESCALATED SYSTEM ISSUES

Under the direction of Client's management, Consultant may be asked to assist in or lead the resolution of operational system issues escalated from the MRI support team as they arise. Resolution types may include:

-Suggest tasks for Client's staff to perform
-Make a change to the application configuration
-Make a change to the application functionality
-Provide knowledge transfer or information

These escalations will be prioritized based upon their relative business criticality to any work already in progress. In connection with addressing any reported issues, Consultant will be responsible to:

-Document issues in HP ALM with sufficient details for stakeholder understanding
-Perform any related analysis and documenting outcomes in HP ALM
-Communicate with the affected business units regarding strategies to resolve the issue

TASK 3: IMPLEMENT APPLICATION CHANGES

For each change to the AREIS application that is needed and approved by Client, Consultant will:

-Determine impact to existing application.
-Propose one or more design options as appropriate to each situation, including a level-of-effort estimate and target delivery date.
-Document the design option selected by Client and obtain approval from the business owner(s) of the design.
-Develop approved application changes within the existing technical environments, using the existing promotion path and QA/testing methodology.
-Performing internal unit/QA testing and facilitate user acceptance testing.
-Collaborate with the CalPERS ITSS staff who are assigned to support AREIS

in deploying update packages.

-Update and enhance system documentation to keep it synchronized with system and environment changes.
-Coordinate with Client System Support with regard to the scope and timing of any planned and/or emergency deployments.

TASK 4: IMPLEMENT APPLICATION ENHANCEMENTS

-Develop a Budget Model in AREIS to automate and streamline the capture of partnership budget data and replace Real Estate's excel budget reporting process.
-Support for the planned MRI version upgrade
-Assist with migration to virtual Servers and the integration of single sign on and restricted remote access for enhanced application security
-Assist with implementation of needed AREIS changes due to requirements from the Real Assets 2016-2017 Strategic Plan.
-Assist with maintenance of the System for Portfolio Attributes and Relationships (SPAR) application. Work entails database development and ETL processes that designed using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
-Address and correct defects that are identified through CAT testing.
-Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure those defects are retested and confirmed as corrected.
-Coordinate with appropriate groups to ensure familiarity with roles and responsibilities during the implementation.
-Provide ongoing support for any issues or defects that arise after implementation

TASK 5: TRANSITION PLAN

-Support and actively participate in the transition plan and knowledge base to integrate CalPERS staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Mandatory qualifications for this engagement are:

-Four (4) years experience in performing software design and configuration within the MRI software suite offered by MRI Software LLC, including the MRI Application Toolkit
-Seven (7) years experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database, and

Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services

-Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
-Four (4) experience with code maintenance and deployment using the Serena

Dimensions code repository

-Five (5) years experience with Real Estate investment accounting, performance, and portfolio management concepts and processes
-Four (4) years experience with implementation of MRI Software in a public pension environment

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

-Past experience with Investment Office
-Prior State of California work experience
-Experience with BI tool software
