Technical Specialist

One of our key clients is currently seeking a Technical Specialist to join their team for a short term contract located in Sydney.

You will be responsible for Datawarehouse solution design including specification of data infrastructure, schemas, mappings and data transformations.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

- Responsible for the design business facing objects including data marts and cubes meeting documented requirements.
- Analyse and participate in information architecture and conversion design and application requirements gathering sessions
- Review and integrate all information management, analytics and reporting requirements into the planned technical architecture
- Model SAPBI and EDW interfaces
- Minimum 5 years Datawarehouse/Data Mart (Dimensional Modelling) Solution Design
- Extensive Datawarehouse architecture knowledge including star schema, ODS, extract methodologies.
- Extensive experience in logical and physical relational database analysis, design and engineering including traditional Entity-Relationship Modelling.
- Experience/knowledge of multiple BI/DW platforms (SAP BW, Oracle, Cognos, Informatica, Microsoft BI Suite etc.)
