Technical manager wanted for our end client in The Hague!

Hourly rate: 61,00

You will:
support Project Manager in drafting respective technical chapters of PID and other related project documentation, including definition of technical requirements, as well as proving realistic estimates for required resources for solution design and delivery phases;
define IM cost aspects of project (project costs, transition costs and operational costs);
liaise closely with Project Manager to assure adequate planning, smooth implementation and consistency of work packages;
manage and monitor build, test and deployment activities while ensuring compliance to IT standards (eg security, architecture);
prioritise and allocate work to solution design and delivery teams and verifying that efforts booked are accurate;
escalate any issues impinging project delivery within tolerances for time and cost to  Project Manager and Senior Supplier;
ensure all required resources, both infrastructure and IM staff, are assigned according to project plan through Senior Supplier;
inform and advise Senior Supplier on a continual basis on supply and resource issues that need attention/decision by the project board;
verify that progress of solution development and delivery remains in line with service design specifications;
ensure governance procedures defined by IM are being followed by engaging with quality management, enterprise architecture, security and service management, infrastructure and deployment teams;
provide documentation in order to conduct and sign off handover of project deliverables to operational teams according to operational requirements prior to project closure
Lead assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages, including assessment of risk. Liaise with business and IT partners on release scheduling and communication of progress. Conduct post release reviews. Ensure release processes and procedures are applied.
Engage with technical design and project managers to ensure correct products are produced in a timely fashion. Evaluate quality of project outputs against agreed acceptance criteria.
Coordinate and manage planning of system and/or acceptance tests within a development or integration project or programme. Assure integrity of testing and acceptance activities and coordinate execution of these activities. Provide authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution. Define and communicate test strategy. Manage all test processes, including test plans, resources, costs, timescales, test deliverables and traceability. Manage client relationships with respect to testing matters. Identify process improvements and contribute to corporate testing standards and definition of best practice.
Identify and manage IM resources necessary for all stages (planning, estimation, execution) of individual systems development projects to ensure technical, financial and quality targets are met. Investigate and document internal control of specified aspects of automated or partly automated processes, and assess compliance with relevant standard.
