Technical Solution Architect

SOLUTION ARCHITECT

A leading Pharmaceutical organisation based in Dublin requires a Solution Architect with a strong focus on Big Data and Data Analytics. This is initially a 6 month daily rate contract with the strong possibility of a long term engagement.

THE ROLE

- Provide Solution Architecture for cross domain, regional and country-centric projects
- Accountable for providing regional/country IT solution(s) meeting functional and non-functional requirements, while adhering to Architecture practices and standards
- Functional/Technology Domain Architecture (eg Business Application Reference Architecture, Reference Architectures, Architecture Patterns, Architecture Roadmaps)
- Accountable for initiating, scoping, and agreeing region- and country-specific solution architecture engagements adhering to defined architecture and project management practices
- Accountable for developing and documenting solution architecture descriptions
- Accountable for engaging and super-visioning solution architects/subject matter experts to develop, document and elaborate solution architectures for respective Business as well as Technical systems in the appropriate regions and countries.
- Accountable for the life cycle management of the IT solutions in scope from a solution architecture point of view
- Responsible for supporting the definition and evolution of the architecture of the Architecture function, more specifically of the solution architecture practice.

REQUIREMENTS

One or more of the following

- ETL -Informatica or similar ETL tool
- SAS or other Analytics tools
- Sharepoint
- Documentum
- Chromeleon
- Electronic data capture tools

Desirable

- Togaf certification
- Agile experience
- Pharma background
