Technical Solution Architect

Context: The Infrastructure & Operations business unit is looking for a Senior Technical Solution Architect.
Duration: Start Date : ASAP
Duration : 6 months with possible extension

Function Description:
The I
- enforcing the usage of the company standards and reference architectures within solution architectures and contributing to the enrichment of the company standards.
- controlling whether proposed solutions will function according to the requirements. Be attentive to Non Functional Requirements (availability, performance, security, …)
- acting as prime technical responsible in large engagements during both bid and delivery phase
- giving architectural guidance to the project teams
- applying Best-in-Class industry IT Architecture guidelines, methodologies
- striving for breadth, completeness, and correctness at the lowest level of detail.
- understanding and apply ISO 20000 processes,
- understanding compliance rules and regulations in finance sector

Language: French Dutch English

Required knowledge/ experience:

Education & Soft skills Industrial / Civil Engineer or equivalent by experience.

• ITIL minded,
• able to deliver high level documentation and follow the Customer processes for IT Architecture,
• ability to familiarize with new products/technologies at a high pace,
• business attitude and solution driven, result oriented.
• good communication and coordination skills (written, oral, presentation, etc.), technical Writer,
• team-worker, but able to work independently
• ability to treat multiple projects simultaneously
• strong analytical skills
• stress resistant
• experienced in implementing changes in complex organisations
• critical mind-set

Experience: 10 years of work experience, with exposure to several technology domains.
• experience in large finance sector organisation,
• good and broad IT background to interact with stakeholders (domain responsible or team members), broad technical interest

Technical experience / knowledge:

Mandatory:
Proven experience and exhaustive knowledge in at least 2 areas out of the followings, and a basic understanding of a significant number of others:
- PCI (Payment Card Industry) Data Security Standard (DSS)
- Security (FW, VPN, Authentication, IPS, …)
- Network (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
- Data Center
- Mobility, BYOD.
- Windows, Unix and/or Mainframe Systems
- Storage
- Applications
- Database (SQL, Oracle, Sybase, …)
- Middleware (MQ, FTP, …), BPM tooling, web technologies
- Voice (VoIP, Call Center, …), Video (Narrowcasting, IPTV, …)
- Any other not specified

Preferable:
Knowledge of Architectural Models (Zachman, TOGAF, Archimède…) would be considered a plus.
