Technical Software Engineer - FREELANCE - CONTRACT - 6 months - Switzerland - Development - C# - C++ - Algorithms - Forecasting - Optimization
I have an immediate opening for a technical software developer for a SIX MONTH contract in the area of Real Time forecasting and optimization for energy trading applications.
My client are experts at utilizing Real Time information to help customers profit from their assets that start-up and shutdown frequently or run continuously.
Candidates will be required to work at the Swiss office in Stäfa, near Zürich, and should therefore already be holders of valid Swiss residence and work permits. Good spoken and written English is required. Development environment will be Microsoft Visual Studio C++/C#. Most important requirements are FORECASTING & OPTIMISATION ALGORITHMS.
What you need:
-Masters level degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics (or equivalent technical background)
-Experience programming forecasting and optimization algorithms for Real Time process control or trading applications. (You must provide specific details on algorithms and techniques that you have worked with and their general area of application.)
-Experience programming in Microsoft Visual Studio C++/C#
-Able to speak and write English well
The salary/rate is £450pd/CHF 687pd. This is negotiable dependent upon experience.
