An opportunity to join a leading Security Vendor in a 12 month contract with a high possibility of a permanent role afterwards!
Technical SOC Engineer/Consultant
Belgium - Brussels
12 Month Contract
£250 - £400 PD (you will need to pay your own expenses)
N.B - Candidates must eligible for NATO clearance ( ideally already holding or previously held)
An opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Security professional to join one of the leading and most well-known names in Cyber Security.
This role will be based on customer site in Belgium, where you will be responsible for analysing the current security situation (cyber Security & Technology) assess current capabilities helping to guide, improve and resolve security issues and incidents.
The responsibilities will involve (but not limited too)
- Design, Install, Configure market leading Security technology, using it to monitor, investigate and detect threats in customer/client networks.
- Coordinate risk detection efforts across our customer base by federating knowledge of emerging trends in threats.
- Coach existing customers in cyber threat management best practices
- Conduct threat assessments and ongoing support for new and potential customers
- Develop processes and automated rules, which increase the accuracy and efficiency of our delivered services.
- This role is based on site with a specific client but in years to come your role could involve more travel.
Your background should involve/include some of the following:
- Cyber threats and risk analysis and Security forensic exposure/skills
- Knowledge & hands on skills with Linux
- Proven SOC knowledge and working knowledge
- Strong knowledge and understanding of SIEM
- Experience working with DLP solutions
- Customer/Client facing experience would be extremely beneficial, if not essential.
- Strong understanding of Risk Management framework including detection, mitigation, work flows and process best practice.
- Experience in communicating findings/presentations to an array of technical and non-technical audiences.
- CISSP, CEH, or similar qualification.
- Fluent English language skills are important.
