Technical SME

The successful candidate will

- Provide ongoing support and expert technical advice on a number of solutions related to ICT Mobility, Video Conferencing and Digital Video Infrastructure;
- Provide day to day management of the digital video Capture/Transform/Share environment;
- Provide day to day management of the national Content Distribution Network;
- Planning and management of upgrades and system expansions of the Digital Video and Content Distribution Network environments;
- Provide technical expertise/advice to the department's mobility environment including video conferencing and smartphone integration with other mobility platforms;

To be successful your skills and experience will focus on the following

- Designing and managing digital video capture and hosting technologies;
- High level network design and operations experience, specifically in the Content Distribution Networking space;
- Experience with digital video and audio technologies;
- Experience with Unified Communication concepts and strategies including integration between disparate technology spheres;
- Administration experience in Windows, Linux and Network (Cisco);
- Ability to work independently and interact regularly with Senior executives;
