Technical Services Manager. Contract. Central Bristol

Technical Services Manager - E-commerce and E-learning. Short term, 1 month rolling contract - 3 days/week. £200/day. Central Bristol

This is a short term 1 month rolling contract, working 3 days a week until the end of March 2015. The role will involve supplier/vendor management of outsourced services, website and database management and IT Management.

This opportunity would be ideal for someone that is immediately available and with a broad skill set.

Key Skills:

- Experience in supplier/vendor management.
- Co-ordination of outsource suppliers for the provision of technical services.
- Experience of website administration, integration and management.
- Basic understanding of Drupal and HTML
- Basic understanding of API use and configuration.
- Some database management experience.
- Project Management experience.
- Must have a can do attitude.
- Ideally immediately available.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Nice to have:

- Understanding of E-commerce and E-learning
- Use of MS Small Business Server

About the Role:

This is a wide ranging role ideally suited for an Technical Services professional with a broad skill and experience base.

Key responsibilities will be as follows;

- Management and development co-ordination of the website.
- Management and development co-ordination of the databases.
- Co-ordination of outsource suppliers for the provision of technical services.
- General technical support to colleagues.
- Advising and inform internal committees on matters regarding IT and systems.
