TECHNICAL SERVICES CONSULTANT - SQL SERVER .NET FRAMEWORK - POWERSHELL ECL JCL
We are keen to secure the services of two Technical Services Consultants to work in Brussels with travel to Netherlands for a period of at least 6 months (almost certainly 12+). The roles are working for a well respected Technology consultancy in helping there customers (predominantly Financial Services) migrate away from Legacy Mainframe environments. The roles are very consultative. Typically the current environment is relatively well known and the migrations are repeatable processes that our client has undertaken many times before. The focus of these roles is really matching information and ensuring we can replicate functionality (and the various nuances of the existing system) into a .net framework environment.
The ideal candidate would bring some Mainframe experience (IBM or Unisys - A Series or 2200), but more importantly a good technical understanding of the target environment: Windows, SQL Server/Oracle, C#, PowerShell.
A combination of Analysis, Testing, Technical Consulting and some Scripting (PowerShell, ECL, JCL)
The successful individuals must be customer facing people, able to create technical designs and reports, and willing to spend a lot of time travelling, or relocating to a client site.
