Technical Operations Analyst- Cathcart Associates are working with a niche financial services organisation headquartered in Edinburgh, who have very exciting opportunity for someone to join at a hugely exciting time.

This post is with a very well respected, progressive firm that have a rapidly expanding portfolio of work for the upcoming years - and they are looking for a dynamic, focused and driven individual to join the operational services team to support the day to day technical issue within business services.

A lot of the support work is outsourced to a third party provider, hence you will be instrumental in supporting this managed service agreement to ensure the quality of the service provided is in line with business expectations /requirements.

There is huge scope for this role to become permanent, and as such you will be influential in shaping this position as this role grows and develops further within the business!

Key Responsibilities / Requirements:

** You will act as a point of contact and escalation for the technology recovery team, providing business impact and recovery timelines to the team to ensure minimal disruption to business services

** Work closely with 3rd party suppliers to ensure support is provided to the team as and when required so that an appropriate level of service can be provided in line with both business and IT requirement.

** Define and maintain processes to ensure appropriate levels of service in accordance with best practice, audit, compliance, and risk etc.

** Actively manage service issues through to resolution and investigate root cause, ensuring that the quality of service is maintained, and that the level of occurrence is minimised etc.

** Communicate objectives to 3rd parties to ensure that expectations of service are appropriately set and met.

** Appropriate professional accreditation for applications and supplier management in IT (e.g. ITIL)

** Good understanding of IT policies and processes that exist in an industry standard framework.
