Technical Sales Manager Progressive Global Energy is looking for a Technical Sales Manager for a well known Well Services Oil and Gas Company to join their Inspection and Maintenance team. Overall Objective: The Technical Sales Manager is responsible for identification, tracking and closing of opportunities that will allow the business to achieve its short and long term financial targets. Key accountabilities include: * Responding to RFQ's, quotations and proposals. * Responsible for a team of sales engineers including training and to ensure all are of a level where they can technically advise and support clients on company products. * Accountable for monitoring and reporting team sales targets. *Identification of product improvements and potential new technology requirements on the market. * Monitor market trends. * Visit clients regularly and perform presentations. The right candidate must have: * Proven track record in sales. * Tender and bid experience * 5 years + experience in Oil and Gas particularly with drilling contractors/equipment. * Managerial experience. * Knowledge of mechanical handling inspections, OCTG, DROPS, inspection, repair or maintenance. This is a staff position based in Aberdeen and will be paying a salary of £60 - £70K plus benefits based on individual experience.
