Technical Release Manager

We are working with a centrally located business in Sydney who are currently looking for a Project Manager that has a very strong background in Release Management to join them immediately on a contract basis.

You will join and become part of the data migration and product assurance team and become a vital part of the organisational structure.

You will enable key relationships between stakeholders and project resources to provide insight into the different projects, requirements, changes, testing and timelines.

Some of the skills and experience are listed below

.* Extensive experience as a Project Manager, managing complex infrastructure and software release

.* Extensive experience in leading and managing solution quality, business acceptance and technical deployment of large and complex software development programs

.* Demonstrated understanding of the project life cycle and project methodologies, including risk, issue management and change management

.* Experience managing and delivering projects in a structured environment

.* Create, manage and document release schedule, team resource plan, risks, issues and dependencies.

.* Expertise in planning and control as well as risk management methods and techniques

.* Previous maintenance of a release plan and schedule, as well as co-ordination with stakeholders to ensure readiness of change for the planned releases.

.* Preparation and delivery of change progress reporting

.* Exceptional stakeholder management/engagement experience

.* MUST have exceptional communications skills both written and oral.

This is a superb fixed term contract or standard contract opportunity with a July 2013 start date that will take you through till the end of the year - with possible extension through to 2014.
