TECHNICAL RECRUITER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Reston, Virginia.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Recruiter will be responsible for conducting full life cycle recruitment. Full life cycle recruiting includes interfacing with hiring managers to create and review requisitions, sourcing/pre-screening candidates, participating in interviews, assisting managers with reference checks, developing competitive job offers and tracking candidates in the tracking system.
- Working with management to identify staffing needs, helping to develop position descriptions, searching for and identifying candidates, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, drafting and negotiating offers, and assisting in the new hire process
- Recruiter will develop a good knowledge of all professional and technical functions and a solid understanding of the Company's organizational structure in order to effectively recruit quality personnel
- Recruit for approved positions as assigned as well as support the recruiting needs of proposal efforts as well as candidate pipelines.
- Determine and implement appropriate sourcing of candidates including the Internet, job boards, job fairs, employee referrals, networking, etc.
- Educate managers on the recruiting process as needed.
- Coordinate interviews for qualified applicants
- Assist the hiring manager to evaluate the applicant with respect to their education, competencies, skills and abilities as well as their fit within the team and the organization.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline desired. Will consider significant professional level recruiting experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience recruiting cleared candidates.
- Excellent ability to communicate (oral & written) effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to "sell" the company and associated positions within the company
- Experience in Government contracting staffing environments including experience with high volume, fast-paced recruiting, and OFCCP compliant staffing procedures.
- Must have experience hiring technical staff requiring government security clearances
- General human resource knowledge and understanding of common staffing metrics and functions is also required.
- Must have experience with an automated applicant tracking system.
- Ability to establish strong relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated, effective client management experience
- Negotiation skills are required.
- Posses an understanding of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Three to five (3-5) years of recruiting experience in a high volume technical environment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring candidates with technical backgrounds who possess security clearances.
