Technical Quantitative Analyst

Perform detailed quantitative analysis and prepare comprehensive reports to support business operations. This is an individual contributor position that works independently with only general direction, relying on knowledge skills and judgment acquired through education and relevant experience to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.

- Utilize SQL, QlikView, and PowerPivot to conduct complex repeatable querying, modelling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis, and other operational analysis.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to manage operational performance (eg, Web, IVR, and care center).
- Research and provide statistical financial and operational information.
- Track, maintain, analyze and provide current information on the operation's business scorecard or key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop, organize and present performance reports for both internal and external use.
- Develop and conduct short-term and long-range business planning.
- May develop, implement, evaluate or lead projects or initiatives (eg, business plan or process improvement initiatives).
- Provide broad analytical and operational support to the business unit.
- Serve as back-up Web Administrator.
- Develop and publish Web pages in a SharePoint 2007 environment.
- Edit and update content and navigation within existing pages.
- Resolve customer issues with Web site.



- Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, MIS/CIS, Engineering, or related field AND 5 - 8 years related business experience, or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 9 - 12 years relevant business experience is required. MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of data analysis processes, tools, and query languages including SQL is required, as is advanced proficiency in standard software applications (eg, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
- Proficiency in QlikView and Microsoft Power Pivot, including ability to import data, manipulate and transform data, create dashboards and ad hoc analyses, and publish dashboards to Intranet is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Business Objects.
- Ability to provide in-depth analysis and statistical problem solving and comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of performance analysis (trending, root cause and gap analysis).
- Ability to analyze organizational data and complex problems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets.
- Customer driven with good oral and written communications skills and strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills. Ideally, the candidate will possess an understanding of customer service systems and processes including call centers, IVR, and Web.
- In order to back up the Web Administrator, the candidate will need moderate Web skills including HTML, SharePoint Designer, CSS, JavaScript, and Google Analytics.
