ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract position based out of Plano TX! The Project Manager should have experience managing multiple concurrent projects and should have previous experience successfully working in a consulting environment. This role will be to act as a liaison between customer stakeholders and project teams and be a key facilitator for project updates. Our client is a consulting firm for Microsoft products and the PM will need to be able to communicate effectively to set proper expectations (and build confidence) with customer stakeholders.
Manage/Lead Day-to-Day Basis/Tracking Milestones/Deliverables/Providing Risk Assessment/Quality Control/Reporting Status, etc.
Establish/Develop the Project Management Office
Schedule/Lead Project Meetings
Facilitate Meetings for other Departments - Distributing/Tracking Action Items
Lead Solution Sessions within the Design/Post Implementation Phases
Work with Application Development/QA Teams to Convey Business Requirements
Manage Project Budgets/Billing and Provide Status Updates following the PMO Process.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
7+ years of experience in the following skill sets
Senior IT Project Management
PMP Certification (MUST be currently certified to be considered)
Application Development Management
OOD - Object Oriented Development
Management within a .NET Environment (STRONGLY preferred, but not required)
SharePoint for Project Tracking/Workflow Communication
Development Methodologies
SCRUM/Agile Methodology
Grooming Sessions/Story Boards, etc.
EXCELLENT Communication Skills - Written/Verbal

PREFERRED (but not required)
Consulting Experience
Project Management for Microsoft Product Implementations
Additional Certifications
CSM - Certified SCRUM Master
CAPM - Certified Associate in Project Management
Waterfall Methodology
PMO - Project Management Office
