Scope of Work
The service provider Coordination Manager will perform the following activities:
Project coordination of implementation of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure with all stakeholders.
This Service includes an assessment of Customer's VDI requirements, creation and implementation of an architecture and configuration of the entire infrastructure in different locations.
*Manage time, cost, and quality for implementation of NS VDl on the SHAPE campus.
*Monitor and control project progress and prepare reports and present briefings to management as required (CSU, DOM IKM).
*Build and sustain effective communications with different stakeholders within SHAPE to include DOM IKM, CSU Mons, and Core Enterprise Services.
*Apply quality management principles and processes.
*Help coordinate efforts between the Centralized Service Desk, CSU, and Data Centre to address questions, solve problems, and answer requests.
*Write documentation for VDl Change Management Processes, Incident Management, and Request
*Fulfilment processes; document governance in support of the desktop and application virtualization roadmap
Project planning
After the SOW has been executed and the purchase order has been received, Service Provider will conduct a pre-engagement planning call with Customer to initiate the project.
Topics to be discussed include:
*Estimated project timelines and scheduling.
*Identification of key Customer project team members with whom VMware will work to accomplish the tasks described in this SOW.
*Identification of required hardware, software, networking, and security prerequisites that Customer needs to provide in order to successfully complete this engagement. These systems are required to accomplish certain activities including, but not limited to, the execution of a knowledge transfer workshop, and the installation of a prototype (non-production) instance of VMware VDI infrastructure to facilitate the education of Customer's project team.
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
