Technical Project Manager - Mining Control Systems (Q7)

Our customer, a leading Consulting organisation with a strong background in the Resources Sector is seeking an experienced TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER with a strong understanding of MINING PRODUCTION AND OUPUT PROCESSES and CONTROL AND FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS for a 12 MONTH CONTRACT in BRISBANE.

The Technical Project Manager will  lead one of the various streams within the program of work.  The ideal candidate will have a good technical understanding of one or all of the following areas - mining, rail or port control systems .  

THE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

- Good technical understanding of either mining, rail or port control and fleet management systems .  
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage the clients expectations.
- A background working for a Consulting based organisation will be highly regarded.
- A strong understanding of  MINING PRODUCTION AND OUPUT PROCESSES and CONTROL AND FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS.  
- MSP, Prince 2 - Project Management Certification will be highly regarded
- Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in multiple high profile projects.
