For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for a TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER IN DELIVERY MANAGEMENT (2048)
TBP GPDM (Technical Business Partner Global Project and Delivery Management) Switzerland is part of a global organisation with the aim to deliver either complex global or cross organizational infrastructure programs and projects to improve services for our customer and optimize processes, costs and operation world-wide.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Managing IT infrastructure projects according to our clients standard project management methodology.
- Plan project work
- Manage dependencies and deliver results
- Manage issues, risks and mitigation actions
- Develop and manage stakeholders according to program or project governance
- Manage reporting and sign-offs with senior stakeholders
- Communicate to management, stakeholders, team members, and subject matter experts on different levels
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- A degree, higher education in Computer Science/IT, or equivalent work experience
- 15 years' experience as a Project and Delivery Manager for IT infrastructure projects
- Strong Project Management skills with a PMP or equal certification (eg PRINCE II)
- Expertise in operation systems (UNIX, Windows, Linux and Storage infrastructure including virtual environments)
- Ability to coordinate tasks across multiple and multi-cultural teams
KEY SKILLS - ESSENTIAL
- Proven people management skills
- Profound knowledge of Hardware, Networks, Storage, Virtualization and IT Security
- Demonstrable experience of working in an IT Service Management capacity
- ITIL Service Delivery qualification is desirable
- Project Management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership skills and ability to drive for delivery
- Extensive experience in implementation and methodologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills (internal and with external partners)
- FLUENT IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH
- Proven IT infrastructure leadership and expertise in organization
- Experience of managing suppliers in outsourcing contracts
