Technical Project Manager- My client in Oslo is urgently seeking a Technical project Manager for critical project starting in the next few weeks.
The client is wanting a profile that speaks English and Norwegian or any other Scandinavian language
Software Development Technical Project Manager
Duration/Varighet 12-18 months
Language: Norsk- Nordisk or English +Norsk
?Background: Project Manager with SW developer background and experience/understanding.
Experience: 5 years as a senior project manager for software development projects
Tools/methods used internally:
Agile/Scrum, Visual Studio, C#, .NET, etc.
Team size: 15 global virtual teams, each 4-7 heads from locations like (Norway, Stockholm, Ume?, St Petersburg, Sofia, Boston, Salt Lake City)
The PM is Reporting to: Dept. Manager for SW Projects

The Client:
The client is a global company, a leading supplier of advanced simulators for a global market. Their development department is seeking the main Technical Project Manager
The Client is a knowledge-based technology corporation, which primarily targets offshore, marine and other markets.
The client will make it possible for the consultant to get a permanent position as a PM role when the project is finished.
The task:
? Administrate and manage R&D SW Dev projects for different simulator products
? Prepare project goals and charter together with the project owner
? Motivate the project team to achieve the project goals
? Follow up and control of cost, schedules and surveillance of the project progress
? Handling of variation orders
? Prepare periodic reports, both internal and external
? Prepare and maintain a project overview
? Contribute to a good team spirit in the projects
? Contribute to continuous improvement
? Obtain and maintain a good customer relationship and internal relations
Education:
? Higher technical education (software or system engineering)
Experience and skills:
? Minimum 5 years? experience as pm for software development projects.
? Good communication skills
? High capability of multitasking Self driven
? Able to handle heavy workload
