Technical Project Manager
Our client, one of the biggest companies in their industry and leader in their particular sector is looking for a Technical Project Manager for a long 8 month project in Warsaw, Poland. The company has more than 10,000 employees worldwide and operates all over the world.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be working with teams in Europe to aid support and implementation of reporting and business Intelligence solution for all European market solutions. Provide oversight on the Ability to work with vendors and business to have the solutions working on defined SLAs. This role will manage the support vendor and will hold weekly sessions with the technical support team to review, understand and prioritize tickets as needed. The candidate will serve as escalation point for the business for any issues in the markets.
This candidate will conduct governance meetings to assess changes, review possible solutions and designs working with the technical teams. The candidate will work with the business to prioritize gaps/enhancements, get impact assessments completed and get the business to prioritize these enhancements to be done out of regular support budget and hours. The candidate will be responsible for the overall project plan and managing vendor resources to deliver on the project plan.
The candidate will be responsible for communication to the respective identified stakeholders in case of severe disruption to the business and pull in appropriate resources to get the problem resolved. The candidate will work with infrastructure teams, application teams, business, partners to get problems and issues resolved as related to new implementations. The candidate should be able to guide the business and technical teams as appropriate in case of problems.
Experience & Qualification:
This candidate should have experience in supporting previously deployed Business Intelligence solutions PLUS implementing BI reporting solutions. This candidate should have delivered BI solutions in the past in a commercial environment. A good handle of technology in the space of SQL server, SAP BO reporting and data modelling and data warehousing experience.
About 7 years of experience in the area of Data warehousing.
Key Mandatory Qualifications:
-Should have worked in the reporting or Business intelligence areas and have managed support of Business Intelligence solutions
-Should have good problem solving skills
-Detail oriented
-A good understanding of data concepts and technical design
-Ability to lead different technical teams and business towards a common design and solution
-Good project management skills, focus on delivery and timelines

Start date: Early May 2015
Duration: 8 months
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Languages: Fluent English- Absolutely mandatory
