Technical Project Manager

Our client is an expanding, global software company that is currently looking for a team oriented and client focussed Technical Project Manager.

Being responsible for enhancing the clients reputation in the marketplace you will be required to manage and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide guidance and direction for team members whilst motivating and mentoring them in their performance
- Manage resolution of project-wide issues or issues that cannot be resolved by the team members
- Provide timely and accurate status reports
- Work effectively together with the Development Manager, Team Leaders and Project Managers monitoring and controlling the progress of development projects
- Focus on innovation and ensure that solution designs are useable in a broader context
- Assess and address both symptoms and root causes of a problem
- Ensure that proposed solutions have addressed the issue
- Manage source code repository for projects in TFS
- Be proficient in different project management methodologies including: overall delivery process management, task management, project status reporting, risk management, delivery of quality outcomes, scope and budget management and engagement between stakeholders
- Ensure all team members are following designated testing procedure and protocols

Key requirements:

- 3+ years experience from the Banking/Finance sector as a Project Manager
- 3+ years experience from hands-on technical roles
