Our client is a leading company seeking a Technical PM to work remotely from the Dallas area. Position requires a seasoned PM with great organizational skills and high-level problem solving abilities. PMP CERTIFIED CANDIDATES WITH RETAIL AND CMS EXPERIENCE WILL BE STRONGLY PREFERRED.

This contract position is likely to be extended up to 2 years with the possibility of converting to full time direct employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Interact and communicate project status/issues with technical and non-technical members
- Comfortable interacting with both clients and internal team members
- Need to be able to drive processes, keeping everyone focused and making clients feel confident that projects will be delivered on time and within budget

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- 5+ years experience managing interactive projects from discovery to design to technical development and implementation
- Technical writing skills & willingness to document
- 3+ years creative Agency experience
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and solution driven
- Tactful and situational leadership skills
- 3+ years experience using PM Software
- Solid foundation in PMI methodology
- Comfortable working with multiple time-zones and remote locations

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:

- Retail experience
- CMS experience
- PMP Certification

DESIRED SKILLS:

- Telecommuting experience
- Familiarity with the Agile development process
- InDesign experience, first-hand knowledge and comfort a bonus
- Technical Training experience, both web-based and on-site
- Problem solving skills, including resolution and anticipation
- Wiki set-up and management
- Effective presentation skills
- German language skills, a bonus
