Technical Project Manager
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Duration 3 months + extensions
An excellent opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to join a large international client on a minimum 3 month contract with opportunity to extend.
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and performing all the preparatory actions for deployment, establishing full detailed schedule of preparation and implementation of each deployment. Perform the deployment of the solution, in partnership with the IT team site. The Deployment will include; Development/Monitoring development and validation of solutions with customers, force proposing new solutions, contributing to an optimization study of the technical infrastructure, being able to audit the application code.
Daily Management:
- Provide leadership and backup applications in the field service
- Support user on the application portfolio
- Monitoring activities/incidents from different providers including piloting the Third Application Maintenance
- Manage version upgrades Application
- Monitor the use of licenses
- Participate in user groups
- Provide secure access to applications through Active Directory
- Ensure updated documentation standard DSI and its implementation in a tool Sharepoint
The Technical Project Manager must have strong experience with;
Technical knowledge (database (Oracle, SQL Server, Access), Dotnet, Windows Active Directory, SharePoint, Advanced Excel)
Fluent English, French and/or Dutch (written and spoken) Communication
Assistance to project owner
Experience on a deployment project.
Very good interpersonal skills and diplomacy.
Excellent knowledge of project management methods .
Excellent knowledge of Agile methods.
Good writing skills.
Ability to manage a team without hierarchical relationship.
Ability to challenge the business needs and to join his/her interlocutors.

Some travel in refineries, according to the phases of the deployment.
If necessary, interventions/penalties at night and/or weekends.
Good understanding of technical issues: design & database management, customer application type - server interface development.
Control tools for consultation and administration database is desired (eg TOAD)
Ability to be heavily involved in a project.
