Technical Project Manager

Our client is the world's most recognized software corporation seeking a Project Manager for a contract opportunity.

Using PMO best practices and standards, candidate will:

- Partner with the managers to facilitate a project management process to fit the client's needs
- Oversee and execute on that process/plan
- Create, maintain and control the project schedule and dashboard
- Facilitate meetings
- Proactively identify risks to the project
- Shepherd the Project Team through the Release process, being mindful of all requirements
- Facilitate program communications
- Identify and implement continuous improvement practices
- Provide regular status reports as required
- Mobility Operations optimization
- Support Mobility Run Management/ad hoc problem solving
- Create/maintain process maps
- Facilitate meetings in program managers absence
- Support presentation content creation
- Review process documentation, data/trend analysis
- Troubleshoot SQL query

Required qualifications:

- 2-4 years of project management experience, Bachelor's degree required
- PMI Certification desired
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Visio
- Advanced Excel - VBA a plus
- SQL - nice to have
- Knowledge/background in software industry products/services/applications
- Strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills
- Ability to foresee and analyze project risks and develop risk management plan
- Must have excellent communication skills, experience working with external vendors, strong project management skills, and demonstrated success in adult learning and training principles/skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
