Technical Project Manager

Our client, a leading international financial organisation, has an immediate requirement for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join the CBD based team.

This role will see you managing the development and implementation of IT Solutions, including infrastructure and applications, and managing the changes to the organisations operating environment to minimise adverse impacts.

The main responsibilities of the role will include;

- Developing robust and achievable work plans, including management of scope and project risk
- Providing timely and accurate progress reports and project documentation to management and governance groups
- Evaluating effectiveness of project management tools, processes and methodologies, and making recommendations for continuous improvement
- Effectively managing relationships with IT delivery teams, and facilitate collaboration between those teams (including external providers)
- Provide knowledge and guidance to others in the development of quality deliverables

To be considered for this role you must have the following;

- Formal IT project management experience, training and/or qualifications
- Experience working in technology enabled change programs and projects
- Recognised certification in project management methodology
- Skills in scheduling tools (eg MS Project, PMW)
