Technical Project Manager

PROJECT MANAGER REQUIRED

- Responsible for partnering with Product/Program Managers to facilitate a project management process to fit their needs, and overseeing and executing on that process/plan.
- Tracks open items from multiple projects and holds other teams accountable for committing to and meeting delivery dates.
- Coordinates with other project managers to re-schedule projects that are delayed pending external deliverables.
- Provides daily tracking of team resource utilization and supports in making scheduling and resource allocation decisions.
- Creates, maintains and controls the project schedule and dashboard
- Facilitates meetings
- Proactively identifies risks to the project
- Shepherds the Project Team through the Release process, being mindful of all requirements
- Facilitates program communications
- Identifies and implements continuous improvement practices
- Provides regular status reports as required

QUALIFICATIONS

- 1-2 years of project management experience
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure with one or more areas: networking, SANs or data centers
- Hands-on experience allocating resources using MS Project, ie must know how to baseline a project and resource level
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with resource leveling multiple shared resources across multiple projects
- Experience with TFS nice to have
- Experience with iAdmin and other GFS tools nice to have
- Holds others accountable in a collaborative way
- Very organized, tracks multiple concurrent activities with excellent follow up
- Highly motivated to close open items
- Experience in IT networking or operations preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
