Our hugely popular client is looking for a stellar Technical Program Manager to own multiple projects that impact the design and development of their enterprise website. Every visitor to the site is a customer and it's this team's job to build and iterate (and iterate again) on a world-class website that raises the bar. Every member of the team strives to be as innovative and agile.

As a TPM for Marketing, you will be responsible for driving and delivering multiple complex web projects simultaneously. In this role, you will provide project leadership, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate project risks, quantify the impact of making tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints. You will provide technical leadership that gets software applications built and integrated into the client ecosystem. A successful candidate will be well versed in what it takes to take a multi-thousand page, high traffic, high impact marketing website to the next level. This role requires having a proven track record in delivering website projects plus excellent problem solving, project management and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Be a guardian of world-class customer experience for your deliverables: continually raise the bar on functionality, flow, consistency, usability, and simplicity
- Manage and deliver web marketing projects from inception to maintenance
- Build and maintain a complete project schedule, make it constantly visible to management and key stakeholders, and drive projects through to completion
- Act as the technical interface between the business and the software development/web design teams. Understand the product and know the right questions and whom to ask.
- Run in front of the software development team, helping define user stories, research appropriate technical solutions, and provide guidance to the team regarding architecture, design, and priorities.
- Translate feature requests into technical specifications and influence design and architectural decisions.
- Work with the business to scope technical software projects with an understanding of website operations (maintenance, deployments, analytics).
- Help make the right feature trade-offs to ship software without compromising customer experience or business relevance.
- Engage with many teams across the company, evangelizing the team and your project, building relationships and helping identify existing components and technologies that can be leveraged to deliver on goals.
- Represent the technical team and deliverables to senior leadership across the company.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of technical project management experience in a related industry
- Working knowledge of current Front End web technologies (HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/jQuery/AJAX, responsive media queries)
- Experience delivering features on large scale, high traffic marketing websites
- Experience with the entire software development life cycle from inception to production deployment and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of implementing web analytics
- Ability to manage multiple parallel projects and delivering quality releases on schedule
- Strong communication skills, specifically with explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing technical programs in a marketing organization
- Experience working in a marketing agency environment
- Experience as a Front End Development Engineer or Software Development Engineer
