Technical Program Manager Web Developer

TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER WEB DEVELOPER: hours for this role will be 20-30/WEEK TO START with prospect of 40 hours based on team need.

Our client is an agile tech research lab working across disciplines to create groundbreaking social experiences. This team has played a key role in shipping new social offerings and has active projects spanning web, mobile, slate and even game console platforms.

At this time this client is seeking a talented Technical Program Manager to join their interdisciplinary team. You will be supporting the PM team with a variety of tasks ranging from developing and maintaining some of the client's web properties, to managing the Reporting Dashboard, from writing tools to automate manual tasks, to writing specifications, etc.

Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, design and user experience, extensive XHTML/CSS development experience, ASP.NET FORMS/MVC, C#, SQL, and will be able to get up to speed quickly.

REQUIRED

- 5+ years of web development/tech PM experience and proven ability to work in a team environment
- Solid experience with C#, JavaScript, XML, and with ASP.NET Forms/MVC, IIS, and web services
- Solid experience working with Relational databases (preferably Microsoft SQL)
- Experience in creating cross-browser solutions using semantic XHTML/HTML5 markup, CSS 2/3 and modern unobtrusive, object-oriented JavaScript
- Experience with Windows Azure or other cloud computing platforms
- Familiarity with source control principles; familiarity with Visual Studio workflow and MVC sites
- Familiarity with current trends in social media and contemporary web concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for solving difficult technical challenges
- Team player/cross group collaboration skills
- Can do attitude, problem solver
- Passion for technology and the social web space

BONUS

- Social app development: experience in building social sites or apps
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and dashboard design
- Windows 8 development
