Our very high visibility client is looking for an intuitive and driven Technical Program Manager who can partner with multiple teams and disciplines to help drive and refine the way they build best-in-class user experiences. We need an independent-minded individual with strong drive for delivery to be the liaison between design and engineering teams. S/He must have experience with UX and design fundamentals.

The candidate will be responsible for researching, creating, developing, refining, and documenting innovative and compelling user experience solutions that meet business and design objectives. S/He will also drive the design schedule and design process for both near and long term products, optimizing them across releases. The candidate will need to communicate through a living design brief, pulling together a single story developed by the entire design team. PM will work closely with a variety of colleagues, including interaction and visual designers, industrial designers, user researchers, marketers, software engineers, and hardware engineers in a highly collaborative environment. The candidate should feel comfortable facilitating discussions involving stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Partner with members of world class design and engineering teams to ensure delivery of the best experience to users
- Drive team workload toward completion
- Represent team in all key meetings
- Track progress and issues, identify risks; report out to management and partners
- Drive continual improvement through post-mortems, data mining and evangelization
- Be willing and able to take on additional diverse projects in the studio as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4-8 years of experience in program management for high-quality consumer electronic products
- Excellent UX experience and a strong understanding of design process
- Rock solid project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with designers and developers alike
- Familiarity with both engineering and design processes; working knowledge of tools like Product Studio and TFS strongly preferred
- Strong interest in and aptitude for learning new technologies and design skills
- Experience with end user or consumer facing services required
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to flush out specifications
- Energized by a fast-paced, highly social work environment
