Technical Program Manager

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER to join our client in Redmond, WA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the Operations and Support Program, working closely with the functional managers and external partners to define, prioritize, execute and support the backlog of work.
- Drive multiple Scenarios and Stories within the Team by identifying resource requirements and ensuring that Stories and Releases are delivered as committed.
- Develop and execute project plans by working closely with peers, build engineers, admins and engineering in both service and operations spaces.
- Demonstrate understanding of business requirements analysis that follows industry best practices for software development life cycle (SDLC) in a team environment.
- Proactively mitigate dependencies, risks and impediments before they become blocking issues.
- Successfully manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong facilitation and team-building skills are required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Five (5+) years of technical program management in a services development or operations and support role.
- Three (3+) years operations services and support architecture and implementation in a cloud environment.
- Strong knowledge of transactional monitoring, process and task automation, testing processes, build processes, configuration management, release management and server deployments.
- Strong documentation skills for properly capturing and publishing process, procedure, status reports and metrics related to deliverables.
- Experience with servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency.
- Experience with Scrum patterns and techniques: sprint planning, burndown charts, retrospectives, handling bugs, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
- PMP certification is a plus.
