Our clients division for Digital and Developed Markets is looking for a senior-level Technical Product Manager that is passionate about building scalable, secure and user friendly mobile and web solutions in a fast-paced agile environment. This includes engaging in technical and functional discussions with many teams and continuous cross functional reviews with product managers and customers across a range of the clients new and existing products. Successful candidates will be highly adaptable, possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills and able to effectively manage multiple work streams.

This role will work closely with the Mobile Services business unit and will be responsible for supporting or leading requirement definition through production implementation for the development of mobile products, interfaces, and platforms. This hands-on, individual contributor position will focus on mobile products and services that utilize current and future delivery platforms and leverage 3rd party relationships with providers in the mobile product space.

The ideal candidate for this position will have more than 7 years of technical product management experience with an ability to think tactically as well as strategically while leading cross functional teams in a highly matrixed environment. A background working in the mobile payments and mobile banking space including payment and transaction support, alerts, prepaid, wallet/payments, web services, money transfer, and offers/rewards is highly desirable. S/He must demonstrate a strong competency in helping to create and sustain an enterprise wide environment that fosters accountability, quality, commitment, growth and innovation. In addition to leading multiple cross functional activities and work streams, the candidate must be experienced in successfully driving cross departmental initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Management of technical product management functions including business requirements elaboration, systems and process flow analysis, meeting critical milestones and deliverables that are time and scope boxed
- Heavy collaboration across business and technology organization, providing sound business analysis, process and change leadership within a maturing, hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) PDLC framework
- Working with limited direction, usually within a complex and evolving environment, to drive delivery of solutions while influencing cultural change
- Management of multiple projects simultaneously and to resolve scheduling and other conflicts in order to meet all deadlines
- Providing guidance to technology groups in their development of design artifacts and Quality Assurance test plans
- Planning and conducting User Acceptance Testing with key stakeholders
- Working with Product Owners to continually evaluate product capabilities and provide guidance to product roadmap and strategy

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 7+ years of relevant experience as a Technical Product/Program Manager
- Strong analytical skills to develop technical and functional requirements, use cases, user story maps and other related artifacts
- Experience in reviewing technical solution design and evaluation to ensure it meets business requirements and long term product goals
- Knowledge of the payment industry with supplemental experience in mobile, electronic funds transfer, retail banking or card processing preferred
- Mobile products experience highly preferred
- Product/project management or product development in the financial services industry preferred
- Reputation for being a collaborative thought partner and business leader, skilled at establishing formal and informal networks within the company
- Strong resource management skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate large scale planning, development and user acceptance testing efforts
- Ability to effectively manage multiple work streams
- Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in working with agile life cycle and/or tracking and process management tools, eg Rally, JIRA
- Educational background in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent highly desirable; MBA a plus
