Technical Procurement Engineer - c. £38,000

Huxley Associates is proud to be working with a leading Aerospace business based in theEast Midlandswho have presented the opportunity for a new Technical Procurement Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to join a successful Quality division in a business that is growing and going from strength to strength. We are looking for some of the best Procurement Engineers/ Managers in the industry. The role will report directly to the Commodity Manager and provide the main interface between the company and supply base, developing and building strong relationships and driving process improvements. Interested? You will need to show proven experience in a technical procurement or buyer role. Ideally you will have Aerospace industry experience but other manufacturing or engineering backgrounds will also be considered. You will need to have a technical understanding with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Most importantly you will need to be a driven and want to be part of a successful and growing team. On offer for the role is a salary of circa £38,000 plus a good benefits package.
