Technical Process & Data Engineer - with VBA and SQL - English Speakin

For a global financial organisation based here in Zürich we are searching for a Data Analyst to join a project.

You will work in the Risk Governance & Streering team which is responsible for analytics and aggregation of risks across the firm. You will collaborate closely with Risk IT and Risk Modelling teams. You will support the team in leveraging and optimally using a new Business Intelligence/risk modelling platform.

Main Tasks:

- Design and development of static and dynamic reports on a newly rolled out Business Intelligence/risk modelling platform (typically using Tabular Model, PowerQuery, PowerPivot or PowerBI)
- Develop self-service reporting capabilities for power users

We are looking for candidates with:

- Minimum of three years of work experience in operations or as a consultant or business analyst in an actuarial, risk or financial reporting environment, preferably in the financial sector
- Self-starter with the ability to learn fast and work independently
- SQL and data analysis skills
- VERY GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF EXCEL AND ACCESS, INCLUDING VBA
