Technical Operations Specialist

TECHNICAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST - 6 MONTHS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Track and report feature implementation progress.
- Investigate issues with partner implementation.
- Run quality experiments against partner data.
- Leverage internal tools to identify/troubleshoot quality issues.
- Write scripts to transform partner data formats into Google-standard formats

REQUIREMENTS:

- CS undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in technical support, QA, or workflow support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must proactively communicate status to stakeholders.
- Strong data analysis skills, especially with SQL-like query languages.
- Must be able to work autonomously under tight timelines.
- Must be able to context-switch and manage multiple partners in parallel across various implementation stages.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years' experience working with Java and/or Python.
- 3+ years' experience working with data feeds. Must be comfortable manipulating various data formats, including CSV, XML, and JSON.
- Experience working with version control software, eg GitHub.
- Preferably candidates will have 1 or 2 of the main EU languages - FR/IT/DE/ES. This is not a must and English only speaking candidates are welcomed also.
