Technical Operations Process Engineer - Contract Role, South East Ireland
11 month contract role
Currently working with a client who is a leading player in the pharmaceutical sector with a requirement for a Technical Operations Process Engineer in their sterile liquid fill facility.
You will play a vital role in supporting the technical operations of the vaccine filling process. The successful candidate will provide ongoing support of manufacturing processes and support for the introduction of new products. You will also be responsible for analytical and engineering studies associated with the development of new components, products, processes, systems and facilities.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
*Support on the manufacturing floor and technology operations
*Protocol report generation
*Co-ordination of activities including material identification, ordering and on-site material management
*Lead and work on projects using lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement
*Generation of Design of Experiments (DoE)
*Tech support during routine manufacturing operations
*Defining requirements for batch manufacturing and control implementation into batch records.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry in a production/process role, preferably in sterile filling processes.
You should have a strong technical focus, excellent experience of process improvements and knowledge of Information Technology and automated production systems.
It is also desirable that candidates be experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams.
You should also be Degree qualified in an engineering, science or similar discipline.
