Technical Officer - Satellite Installations

We are working with a highly-sought Federal Government organisation to source a Technical Officer for an initial contract until August 2015.

This is a great opportunity for an NV2 cleared candidate to secure a long term contract with several extension options (up to 4 years of work in total!)

Your DUTIES will include:

- Completion of technical documentation for site surveys and installations.
- Stage and test communications infrastructure in Canberra.
- Arrange freight of satellite infrastructure to various national and international locations
- Installation of satellite infrastructure at various national and international locations

Required certifications (you must either hold these, or be willing to obtain):

- Cat6/5e and SM/MM fibre Structured Cabling
- Satellite Systems
- ACMA Registered Cabler (Open Cabling License)
- Australian White Card
- Working at Heights
- Working in Confined Spaces
- RADHAZ

Due to the nature of this organisation and the work you will be doing, you must be an Australian citizen with a current and active NV2 security clearance.
