I am looking to hire a technical officer for one of the public sector client. Below is the job description of the same.
LOCATION-East:RAF Mildenhall
DURATION-5 months
Manage delivery of facility maintenance/minor new works on active RAF military establishment occupied by USVF visiting forces.

Directly responsible to infrastructure line manager and to Senior Infrastructure Manager.
TALK ME THROUGH THE CORE RESPONSIBILITIES/OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE?
Integration into a team supporting the management and delivery of funded works from inception to completion on facilities and infrastructure encompassing Mechanical, Electrical, Building, Civil Engineering associated with an active military establishment.
Effective communication and liaison with military customer, staff and contractors.
Managing contractors in the effective program delivery of contracted works.
Development and contracting of customer requirements ensuring compliance to standards and regulatory bodies.
Effective use of IT in communication, updating progress reports and development of contract documentation.
EXPERIENCE OF FACILITIES MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE.
SPECIALIST ACCREDITATIONS?
Appropriate qualification and experience in either Electrical, Mechanical or Building Civil Engineering discipline.
WHAT ARE THE 3 MOST IMPORTANT SKILLS THE CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE?
1. Mechanical, electrical or building and civil engineering background and experience
2. Integration and good communication in a team environment
3. Responsibility to develop and manage contract requirements/works to meet targets.
