Technical Network Consultant - Unix, Windows Infrastructure, Network

On behalf of one of our major clients in the banking environment, Randstad IT Professionals is actively looking for a TECHNICAL NETWORK CONSULTANT.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITY

Act as single point of contact for all projects that plan to place an application into the network boundaries
Act as the technical consultant ensuring that all communication tracks are documented properly
Draw the network diagrams, to define the groups and to obtain approval for the placements

KEY DELIVERABLES

Support Delivery Managers and/or Project Leaders in order to gather all required information for the design
Guide the placement requests on behalf of the projects towards approval
Act as single point of contact for the members of the approval board
Improve usability of the tools in order to expedite the process of gathering the required information

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Solid knowledge of UNIX and WINDOWS INFRASTRUCTURE
Solid Knowledge of NETWORK communications and SECURITY considerations
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self motivated with proven ability of working in team environments
English (German is a nice to have)
