JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL MARKETING ENGINEER - LINUX

KEY SKILLS: Application Development, C, C++, HTML5, JavaScript and Java, System Administration

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Candidate will work on technologies like Tizen, Chrome, Android, Yocto for Core/Atom platforms, as well as open source technologies for Data Centre such as Open Stack and Hadoop.

The scope of team's activities include design-win and design-in technical support for customers and partners, technical collateral, field/customer training and product/customer demos.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Executing a demo roadmap for various open source technologies and open source operating systems
- Working with other external and internal teams to procure and plan ingredients for demos
- Developing and Integrating Demos
- Preparing and troubleshooting Demos for events, conferences possibly with customers/partners
- Running tests to provide key information for design-win and design-in technical support to OEMs and Operating System solution vendors
- Researching and documenting information for the development of the technical and demo collateral

NECESSARY SKILLS (MUST HAVE):

- Strong technical background in Linux based Open Source Operating Systems.
- Hands-on experience developing, porting and/or debugging on Linux platforms.
- Application development experience with C, C++, HTML5, JavaScript and Java
- Linux System Administration knowledge
- Demonstrated technical writing skills. Creating and executing product demonstrations.
- Proven communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to apply critical thinking
- Ability to work independently and proactively, multitask effectively and exhibit strong influencing and leadership

ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED (NICE TO HAVE):

- Familiar with Open Source Software version control, configuration management and bug tracking tools would be a benefit
