Technical Marketing Engineer

Our client is the leading computer components company seeking an Engineer to be responsible for preparing and setting up software on their media processor platforms, as well as evaluating and testing the platform for proper operation. S/He will also design, implement, and test new application software to showcase the capabilities of media processors. Other duties include evaluating the performance and capabilities of consumer electronics devices in the market, providing support for trade shows, organizing and cataloging demo software for ease of distribution to the field, collaborating with ecosystem partner on demos, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

- BS or BSE degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 3-5 years programming experience in Linux environment
- Knowledge using Linux operating system and development tools
- 3-5 years C and/or C++ programming skills for Embedded system
- 3-5 years Java programming skills for Embedded system
- Hands-on experience setting up and operating Embedded computer systems
- Software and hardware platform testing/validation experience
- Performance benchmarking knowledge and experience
- Experience and knowledge on Android (eg, Ice Cream Sandwich)
- Development experience on Android Embedded platform
- Good team work and initiative
- Good written and verbal communication skills
