Technical Marketing Engineer

An exciting opportunity is available to support a dynamic group working with the next generation of Ultrabooks. This position supports development of new usages for Ultrabooks by working with ISVs to create new applications that take advantage of sensors in the platform, among other capabilities. You will be the technical "go to" resource for integrating sensors into applications for the Windows 8 platform. You will also be responsible for demonstrating the applications and systems to a variety of internal and external stakeholders and evangelizing the value of sensors and context awareness in company platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Distributing and supporting applications for demos
- Running demos for internal and external forums, possibility at CES 2013
- ISV support for application development on Windows 8 and client platforms
- Support application User Testing efforts as needed
- Sensor Hub SDK documentation
- Sensor Hub SDK support
- Technical support to SSG AEs as needed for sensor issues

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 5-10 years of experience
- 1+ year experience with this client as an Application Engineer or Technical Marketing Engineer desired
- System and application troubleshooting ability
- Computer setup of OS, drivers, etc.
- Presentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Clear communication and writing skills
- Customer service skills
- Software coding and debugging skills preferred

Estimated length of assignment: 13 weeks with possibility of extension
