Technical Manager: VMWare, ESX, Virtualization, Storage

ESX Technical Manager is the primary technical contact working with all Service Support teams in identifying, troubleshooting and helping to resolve ESX, Virtualisation and related VMWare issues.
The Technical Manager will also play the service management and resource management role for related ESX services. He/she will be responsible for business analysis, operational support and management for all ESX services supporting the Novartis environment.

The successful candidate will have skills in the following areas:

*10 years providing IT services in the virtualization spectrum for VMWARE (engineering, design, administration and people management experience)
*5 years ESX administration
*Excellent understanding of IT, project management and compliance domains
*More than 5 years of IT managing experience in large scale Virtualization services teams in global environment and delivering infrastructure services across geographic and business boundaries.
*Capability to think in terms of industrial value chains and to manage the service end-to-end (from sourcing to pricing, from global to local).
