Our client, a leading Mobile Telecoms company, are looking to recruit a Technical Manager to join their team based in Dublin, Ireland. This role will be responsible for providing the technical interface for Circuit and Packet Core switched technical support to mobile operators in the UK and Ireland.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Representing the company at technical review meetings, to provide network updates, recommendations and results of projects and investigations
- Working with Customer Project Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver key projects on time and with minimal disruption
- Collecting and providing network summaries and KPIs together with recommendations for upgrades or optimisation to customers
- Liaising with 3rd line support to progress fault investigations and resolutions
- Preparing customer networks for upgrades, migrations and evolution to LTE Evolved Packet Core
- Supporting internal projects and driving improvements to internal procedures
To be considered for this opportunity, you will require the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a client facing technical management role within the mobile telecoms industry
- Strong knowledge of Circuit and Packet Switched Core technologies and support
- Strong ability to analyse and present network summaries and KPIs to internal and external stakeholders, and make recommendations based on the findings
- Excellent customer and stakeholder management/communication skills
- Knowledge of any of the following technologies would be advantageous:
- NSN DX & ATCA SGSN, ATCA MME
- NSN FLEXI NG & FLEXI ISN
- Cisco 7609 Routers and 3750 Switches
- Checkpoint IP1260 & IP1280 platforms
- Checkpoint IPSO OS
- NSN DX MSS & HLR, ATCA MSS & MGW
- NSN NT-HLR
