TECHNICAL MANAGER/CIVIL ENGINEERING

This is a job opportunity within Government (Defence) for a contract position. It is also an excellent networking opportunity to move into different projects around the site and develop your career/experience.

In this job you will play an important role in Building Management and Civil Engineering areas at RAF Leeming as part of the DIO.

You will be responsible for in year delivery of Hard and Soft FM programme, ensuring risk are identified and mitigated, Undertake programme management activity within area of responsibility including managing dependencies and liaising with project managers/stake holders to ensure that in year options are scoped.

Your responsibilities will also involve Facilities Management, Technical outputs, Project management, leadership of the service delivery, manage the team in order to deliver DIO outputs, demonstrate a personal commitment to the DIO Guiding Principles, provide leadership for the team/section and/or function, ensure local compliance with mandatory requirements eg H&S training.

REQUIREMENTS

For this job you will need an appropriate Buildings and Civil Engineering qualification/degree or comparable experience, and a qualification in electrical engineering. You will need experience in having similar responsibilities as the above, with a background in Defence and Building Management/Civil Engineering.
