Technical Manager

Yoh has an immediate contract opportunity for a TECHNICAL MANAGER to join our client in Wilmington, DE.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The primary function of the Technical Manager is to provide technical Management leadership for the Enterprise case management teams. Our Technical Manager is a role requiring strong people skills, communication with business and technical partners, and ability to support a software development team. Looking for that leader who is looking for a combination of management and technical work in an agile scrum environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage standard system processes and enhancements to system
- Work with business partners and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of system and determine priority of needs.
- Identify and manage platform strategic direction in coordination with business users' needs and direction.
- Work with business leaders as trusted IT partner building new applications to provide world class customer experience and associate support systems.
- Work with agile team as primary manager for a single case management development team.
- The Case management tech leader will report to the Director IT for Case management

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering or Computers
- Five (5) years of experience in Managing medium to large IT application development projects
- Four (4) years of experience in people management
- Six (6) years of experience in Software development
- Solid understanding of the enterprise architecture industry and trends
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Strong analytical and decision making skills
- Background would include experience with BPM or workflow management solutions
- Strong desire for PEGA PRPC experience or PEGA Chordiant experience
- Work with similar workflow solutions from Oracle, SAP or IBM may be applicable
- Must have at least one year fully engaged in agile scrum environment
