Technical Leader - Automation - West Midlands

This is a professional Technical Leader position, requiring planning and resource management skills to direct and monitor tasks of others. The candidate will be responsible for the complete technical solution to be provided to meet / exceed customer expectations within Comau timing and cost constraints. Utilizes planning, resource and task management skills and directs engineering staff in successful implementation of project assignments. Be to considered for this excellent opportunity you must have the required skills detailed below: - Ability to write technical documents and reports for use as reference by engineering and technical writers as well as documentation for the project. - Mechanical: strong knowledge of machines, tools, and print reading. An understanding of solutions / systems, their components, and the relationship of those systems to the controls Design. - Drafting, Laying Out, and Specifying Technical Devices, Parts, and Equipment: Providing Documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to tell others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used." -Training: Ability to train and mentor other Technical Leaders, Automation and Controls Engineers.
