Technical Leader

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- 5-6 years of IT experience in developing, integrating, deploying and managing complex hybrid' (vendor + custom mix) IT solutions/systems in a complex organizational environment
- 4+ years of experience in technical analysis, design and implementation of custom software solutions using Java/.NET and data analytics (RDBMS/datawarehousing/ETL or Big Data) platforms
- 3+ years' expertise in system integration of vendor and custom products/solutions, including integration design, implementation, deployment and rollout
- 2-3 years Web Services experience using Java, SOA, WCF or similar technologies
- 3+ years of experience leading teams of 2-3 team members from a technical and task management perspective
- Hands-on technical leader, who can effectively drive technical ideas/initiatives and at the same time also individually implement technical tasks
- Strong ability to work in an integrated team environment involving internal teams and external teams from vendor and professional services firms
- Experience working with project teams located in multiple geographic locations
- Experience of Agile projects and tools such as Rational Team Concert
- Strong experience (2+ years) of mentoring/coaching junior developers
- Experience in data-warehousing and data analytics, especially with Big Data technologies would be highly desirable

- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Self-driven individual, who can drive actions and tasks as needed
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts, regardless of the technical level of the audience
