Technical Lead/Software Engineer

Yoh has a 12 plus month opportunity for a TECHNICAL LEAD/SOFTWARE ENGINEER V to join our client in Crystal City, VA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performs software analysis, development, testing and maintenance activities
- Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure
- Works with System Administrators to ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational standards, Government mandates, and approved procedures
- Recommends software and hardware enhancements, diagnoses and corrects issues, defines and implements new services with the goal of achieving maximum server uptime and availability for the customers
- Conducts system analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies, in accordance with approved procedures and standards
- Interacts with customers and end-users on a daily basis
- Developing enterprise applications using ASP.NET, C#, CSS, AJAX, JQuery, ADO.NET, LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL Server in a Visual Studio environment
- Developing SOAP and REST web services
- Utilizing PKI on IIS
- Microsoft Windows Operating System, Server Edition, 2008 R2
- Microsoft Windows Internet Information Server 7.5
- Microsoft Windows SQL Server 2008 R2 RDBMS
- Oracle Database PL/SQL
- Working with OLTP and OLAP data models
- Developing integration interfaces using messaging Middleware
- Developing reports and reporting objects for Business Intelligence systems
- Utilizing unit testing
- Utilizing Virtual Servers for Development
- Utilizing Subversion for source control

Job Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree would be preferred but is not required (if the individual has the required skill set)
- Minimum five (5) year of experience with HL7 2.3 and HL7 3.0
- Must have experience with .NET 3.5 and 4.0
- Must have experience with configuration for data encryption
- Proven ability to independently research, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide-range of technical IT-related user requests in a timely manner, while keeping the customer informed of progress and anticipated resolution schedule Proven experience working in a dynamic, distributed environment, supporting a worldwide user base
- Proactive, with clear ability to work as part of a team
- An enthusiasm for customer satisfaction and technical knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications, services, and procedures
- Knowledge of database systems and an understanding of Client Server technology

Knowledge of the following:

- JIRA
- Mirth Connect
- Actuate BIRT
- VMWare
- Hyper-V
- IT-related technical experience in a Government network
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or higher certification
- Elicit customer software requirements and develop related documentation
