Technical Lead (MS SQL Server)

We are looking for a Technical Lead -SQL Server Solutions in CT, details:

Location: Hartford, CT

Duration: 6 months+

Start: 2 weeks

SQL server developer to design and deliver solutions integrated with office applications as necessary. Works with business representatives and Business Analysts (BAs) to define, design and develop functional requirements. Develops corresponding technical specifications and solution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepares technical and/or functional specifications.
- Keeps documentation up to date and adheres to internal and external controls.
- Provides level 2 and 3 production support including resolution of problems at root cause
-Participate in development of project charters as appropriate

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- 3-5 year experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005/2008/2012
- Extensive knowledge of SSIS/SSRS
- Ability to write & troubleshoot SQL code & design stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, & constraints.
- Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) and troubleshooting tools
- Experience in Design and Modeling using UML and Unified Process including developing logical and physical data modelling

SOFT SKILLS

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both customers and developers
